Retreat: Come and Stay
If you would benefit from the chance to be still, to reconnect with God, rekindle your faith or simply enjoy some rest and relaxation in the Somerset countryside, then why not contact us to arrange a stay? We are passionate about being able to accommodate people regardless of their financial status, so accommodation is offered for use free of charge.
My Father’s House is our family home, not a hotel. Family and other guests could be here when you stay, but we’ll let you know about that in advance and we’ll make sure that everyone has the space they need. You are welcome to join in with the activities of the household, from meal preparation to gardening! Alternatively, you can find a quiet space and be still, or visit the nearby attractions of Somerset. We can be available to listen, talk or pray if you wish. Please come and make yourself at home.
Residential visits are strictly by prior arrangement, but please do get in touch if you would like more information, or to discuss booking a visit.
Church Away Days
If your home group, PCC or eldership is looking for somewhere different to hold prayer, study or planning days, we would be pleased to welcome you at My Father’s House.
If you would like us to prepare content and lead some sessions during the day, that can also be arranged.
A donation would be requested of £10 per-person which would cover the use of facilities and any refreshments/lunch, depending on your requirements. We can cater for groups of up to ten people.

Discovery Days
Discovery Ministries is pleased to offer Bible Studies that cover topics that don’t always form part of the regular church preaching curriculum. This option is ideal for Home Groups wanting to spend a relaxing day together that includes Bible Teaching, Prayer … and lunch!
But you don’t have to rely on us to provide the Bible Study. Feel free to come with your own plans for the day and just use My Father’s House as a venue.
A donation would be requested of £10 per-person which would cover the use of facilities and any refreshments/lunch, depending on your requirements. We can cater for groups of up to 10 people.

Discovery Retreats
We were pleased to be able to lead week-long retreats at Ashburnham Place in East Sussex which included times of worship, prayer, reflection, bible study and discovery. We like to explore areas not always on the ‘church curriculum’ as well as reinforcing well-founded Christian principles. Subjects we’ve looked at include The Mystery of Melchizadek, What It Means To Be ‘In Christ’ and Jonah, Peter & The God of Second Chances.
These studies and others can now be done as Church or Home Group away days/weekends, including times of prayer and worship, hosted at your church or another venue of your choice. Please get in touch to find out more information.
